The police men of Mariupol tortured the drug dealers with the electric shock, making them to buy their drugs!!!
With such a declaration at the headline the Mariupol papers were issued. The result of the action “Sick of it” which was initiated by the charity fund “Pilgrim” and “Church of Good Changes”, is the arrests of the high militia officers in Mariupol.
It was started the proceeding over the 2 officers of the Mariupol department of the struggle against illegal circulation of drugs. They were accused in the committing the crimes by 6 articles of the Criminal codex of Ukraine. The chief of the management of internal security of the Donetsk region Vladimir Serba introduced to the journalists some details of the case “In the 14th of June, 2006 the workers of the department of internal security in Donetsk region as a result of the special operation caught in the act 2 operative workers of the department of the struggle with the illegal circulation of drugs (DSICD) of Mariupol city militia management. The prosecution brought the actions according to the article 364 of the criminal codex of Ukraine “Abusing of the power and the official position” as well as the article 368 “ Taking a bribe”. They were accused in making citizens sell the medication Tramadol without the appropriate permition in 2005, 2006. Beside, these officers got bribes from the citizens for them not to be committed for trial. During the searches several thousands of pills of Tramadol were found.
According to the preliminary data only during the last short period major Andrey Marianov and the captain Dmitry Pavluchenkov got the bribes in amount of 35 000$ ( from 4 their dealers). When the Tramadol dealers lost their patience they themselves turned to the militia, and have betrayed their “chiefs”. The persecutor has interesting facts about the tortures used by the upper mentioned officers with the purpose to make the dealers work for them. One of the episodes deals with the usage of the electric shock, which was connected to the fingers. Time will show how long the proceeding lasts.
