God unites hearts
In the eve of the Valentine’s day within the children’s centre “Republic Pilgrim ” there are not only elegant children and dances. Today their favorite mentors are united before the face of God and church in sacred bonds of marriage.
Marina Rudenko had converted 17 years ago, and only 3 years ago she met her prince – Sergey Bogatsky who began his Christian way having got a job of the watchman in “Republic Pilgrim “. Sergey used to be a drug addict in the past. First it was a barrier in forming of relationships, but the feeling which has been checked up by time did not die away but got stronger and stronger alongside with trust to each other and purity before God. It is not the first time when employees of “Pilgrim”, serving God shoulder to shoulder, create families with the coworkers on God’s field. Love to children and desire to serve God are those common things, which two different persons find in each other.
Marina has little son Daniel, and in consent Sergey and Marina took under guardianship the teenager from “Pilgrim” Kolya Yakimenko. Now Danik and Kolya are not just best friends, they are brothers.
The children in “Pilgrim” rejoiced for their mentor – after all they never before saw her so happy. After wedding the employees of the centre and all children have flown to congratulate a newly-married couple. And though to the majority of children it is still early to think about what love is, what the Bible says about it, the basic themes of conversation this day were « Marriages are made in heavens», «God connects hearts» and, of course, 1Cor. 13.
The family Bogatsky has every chance to be happy, after all in the day of their wedding the hot prayers of fifty children for whom this couple is close and dear have been directed to heaven.
