The Church of God in the city of Donetsk ( Pastor Vladimir Kovynev) has started the rehab center for addicts and alcoholics. This is the 31st center opened by the missionaries from the congregation of the rehab centers.
The newly made missionaries Denis Domansky who had a rehab course in the center of Kramatorsk and Victor Tyshenko from Chervone village near Mariupol pray and wait when God will bring people who need help. In industrial Makeevka there is a plenty of addicted young people and that is why the motto chosen by the leaders of the rehab center is pretty actual to the very essence of the work of the new rehab center:
“Deliver those that are drawn unto death.”( Proverbs 24:11)
3 houses for the rehab center were bought by the businessman Nickolay Pristupa, a member of Donetsk Church of God. At the beginning the businessman promises to sponsor the development of the rehab project. When there will be people on a rehabilitation he will give them work for the center to prosper and to earn its living by itself. Presently there is a renovation in these 3 houses, all is made to prep the houses for winter for them to be ready to accept the first addicts and already in spring according to Nick Pristupa it will be possible to build a good big building for the rehabilitation of a big number of people in need.
