Keep away! Fire!
These days the pilgrims could try on the garments of firemen and realize very clearly that fire is a danger and to quench it is a business of heroes.
From time to time the district fire service station organizes studies of fire security in educational establishments for children. The kids had heard a lot about the feats of pastor Gennadiy while serving in the fire service of Moscow as a foreman. But this time they could not only hear about but perceive the stuff that help the heroes to save people’s lives – firemen, bravely running towards the trouble.
On coming of firemen the fire security exits were opened and the construction itself was prepared for the evacuation. Such events are useful as the kids won’t get lost and will know exactly where to run to get out of the building.
The rescue team arrived at Pilgrim by brand new car. They showed to the children the equipment of a real fireman, kids could try the helmets on; they looked into special water hoses to extinguish the fire. After the study the firemen told about their work, let the kids take pictures with the fire equipment.
For the kids what was going on has become a real adventure and a life lesson.
