Bike action around the world “A world without orphans” has started!
In Mariupol took place second stage of round the world cycling action “A world without orphans.” Former street children, now adopted in families, children in foster care, their parents went to Kiev, where the movement will begin on the roads of Ukraine and Russia. This event will be a continuation of the past year biking tour “Ukraine without orphans.”
Team members will start in Kiev today, June 5, 2012, and plans to overcome the nearly 2,000 kilometers by road of Ukraine and Russia. The second phase is scheduled for completion June 30.

During their tour the group will make stops in cities to take part in numerous actions: concerts, press conferences, meetings with the authorities and the public, flash mobs, programs for children, etc.
The organizers of bike tour: Charity Fund “Pilgrim,” an alliance “Ukraine without orphans,” the alliance “Russia without orphans.” The action is supported by the State Department for Adoption and Protection of Children’s Rights, the Presidential Administration, local state administrations and local authorities.
Recall that in the summer of 2011 adopted children and their parents, and children of the children’s center “Republic Pilgrim” made a bike ride of a thousand kilometers in Ukraine with the slogan “Ukraine without orphans” under the auspices of the Alliance of the same name. They rode bicycles from Mariupol to the country’s capital Kiev making stops in many major cities of Ukraine. In each of these cities children and the adults talked to people about their dreams – Ukraine should be without orphans. You do not need much – just decide for yourself that there are no other children, and make at least one child happy. This bike tour is the first step in the upcoming worldwide round.
The initiator of biking, “A world without orphans” pastor Gennadiy Mokhnenko, Director of Children’s Center “Pilgrim Republic,” himself adopted and took care of more than thirty children.
The present appeal – “A world without orphans” – is unprecedented, but pastor- Pilgrim Gennadiy Mokhnenko, together with the children of Pilgrim Republic, “and his adoptive sons believe that this action will bring a significant change, and cause the promotion adoption.
